This might be different from the usual hardware store that you know. Without a single brick-and-mortar store how a pure e-commerce brand, Electgo, an online B2B industrial marketplace for Electrical, Control, Lighting and Safety Products drives customers by tapping on the Adobe Commerce platform.
Electgo offers a comprehensive range of industrial products from leading brands worldwide and carries over 70,000 SKUs, from various industries to cater to the market demands. The well-known brand is ranging from 3M, Omron, Philips Lighting, Schneider Electric and more.
Challenge: Manual Process & Flawed Customer Experience
The content and product site were maintained separately. Customers cannot easily navigate both information on the same website. They cannot seamlessly search the product needed from the long listings because the product categories were outdated. On top of that, manual processes were needed in the order and customer management process which costs more manpower and time in handling them. The website was out of maintenance. This is not helping in brand awareness and personality.
We revamped the website design using more prominent product displays through interactive and dynamic design. Product search & browsing becomes more informative and accurate by providing comprehensive search results. Customers can browse based on prominent categories instead of at the menu.
To enhance the international customer experience, we implemented a self-help function that they can auto convert the quotation into USD to print for overseas management approval purposes. Self-service has advantages that traditional customer support simply cannot offer. It gives them the tools they require for solving other similar issues in the future.
Before this, the staff would need to go through a manual process of contacting customers to confirm their order/quotation purpose. Working on top of the Adobe Commerce B2B function, we facilitate a function to gather information upon quotation request. The customer can fill in the necessary information directly while placing the order. Now, they don’t need to go through the manual back and forward communication steps anymore.
Electgo Indonesia e-store will revamp its e-store using Singapore e-store as a reference due to its overwhelming performance.
